Information Management Assistant

Under the overall guidance and supervision of the Kuwait Joint Support Office (KJSO) Business Analyst, the incumbent will be assisting in the
delivery and in some cases, assume direct responsibility of the following:
Business process and statistical analysis:
Develop and implement a data governance framework to include data quality, data management, data policies, business process management, and risk
management surrounding the handling of data in the organization;
Coordinate the development of a Performance Management Framework (aligned with the Global Field Support Strategy - GFSS) for KJSO and Missions
Develop, implement and monitor KJSO and Missions' specific (strategic and transactional) Key Performance Indictors as per established
Performance Management Framework and in alignment with the GFSS;
Coordinate with ICTD in the development of all dashboards related to functional areas in-scope;
Liaise with UNHQ in reference to the implementation of UMOJA and Inspira;
Technical project management for the ongoing iNeed implementation and administration;
Conduct Business Intelligence Analyses on KJSO services and related processes (HR, Finance and CITS), including developing detailed business
cases and cost benefit analysis for recommended actions/improvements;
Conduct Business Intelligence Analyses on Missions' specific services, operations and mandated strategic imperatives including developing
detailed business cases and cost benefit analysis for recommended actions/improvements;
Work with cross functional teams led by subject matter experts (SMEs) and conduct business process reviews;
Developing measurement and management tools for an ongoing processes improvement;
Validate the system's processes with quality assurance management and oversee the proper implementation of the processes within the system;
Identify business requirements and assist in the development and roll out of end user documentation;
Standardize routine report requirements for HR and Finance;
Prepare, consolidate and submit HR standard report to UNHQ and Missions' management;
Provide UNHQ, KJSO and Missions' management with ad-hoc reports on monitored areas;
Assist KJSO Human Resources Management (HRM) in the staffing table management by providing data quality assurance and reporting (post management
remains within HRMS);
Provide Missions' management with business intelligence analyses on owned HR strategic imperatives and objectives.


Conduct research as required;
Guide and supervise locally recruited staff;
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High school or equivalent diploma, plus a combination of relevant certification/ diploma or other academic qualifications or training
in information technology, finance, human resources, business administration or related fields. University degree is an asset.
Experience: Six (6) years of experience in IT, Human Resources or Finance and Business Intelligence tools to include data analysis, business
process re-engineering and enhancement.
Languages: A good command of written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
Other Skills: Knowledge and experience with United Nations Systems, Applications, Rules and Regulations is an asset.
Professionalism: Knowledge of business processes and system dependencies. Ability to assess data health and propose solutions to data problems.
